A mix of things I’ve built from the ground up and websites I’ve designed for others: a national CPD platform, a community festival, and a range of local businesses. All live.

The Red Lion, Rothwell
Hospitality theredlionrothwell.co.uk (opens in a new tab)The Red Lion had outgrown a self-built Wix site that couldn’t deliver the vision its owners had for the place. They gave me a free hand to design something built around their audience, and I wired it into the software they already use to run the pub day to day. The result is a site they control themselves, pushing out events, offers and their full menu the moment anything changes.
MG Electrical
Trades mgelectrical.com (opens in a new tab)MG Electrical came to me frustrated: pages that wouldn’t load, contact forms that never arrived, and a previous developer who couldn’t put it right. They liked the simplicity of their existing site, so I rebuilt it faithfully as a fast, reliable site with a lightweight CMS so they could manage enquiries themselves. That reliability was the start of a wider partnership: I’m now building them a bespoke platform to run the whole business, so their engineers can quote, order materials and work with far less admin and far fewer spreadsheets. Along the way I moved them to new accounting software and an accountant that save them over £1,500 a year.
C&G Brickwork
Construction candgbrickwork.com (opens in a new tab)C&G are skilled builders who had never needed a website, and had no online presence at all. I approached them with a simple idea: a clean, one-page site that would give them a professional footing online without any fuss. They handed me complete freedom, and I delivered exactly what they needed, so they can get on with building while new customers can actually find them.
CTB Installations
Home improvement ctbinstallations.co.uk (opens in a new tab)CTB’s existing WordPress site worked and looked fine, but it wasn’t ranking, so the right customers simply weren’t finding it. I rebuilt it on a bespoke, technically sound platform, with a dedicated page for each specialist service rather than hoping to rank for “windows” and “doors” alone. I also gave them a blog system to publish their own SEO-rich articles, and I host both the site and their email. The result is a site that works for them in search, not just on screen.
Keki Energy
Renewable energy keki.energy (opens in a new tab)Keki had paid for a website nearly two years earlier that had never gone live. They were happy with how it looked; it had simply stalled. I took a look, found the functionality and settings the original developer had left unfinished, put them right behind the scenes, and got the site live, turning a long-stuck project into something finally working for their business.
Newmans Gold
Retail newmansgold.com (opens in a new tab)Newmans had always worked from their high-street shop, advertising locally. I could see a bigger opportunity in a dedicated site for people looking to sell their gold, so I came back to them with a plan, and ended up creating the branding, the website and the business model behind it, all of which they adopted. I built the site and gave them the tools to publish their own content for search and social. Within a week of launch they’d taken their first appointment through the site and bought gold from a very happy seller.
Trove
E-commerce trovestore.co.uk (opens in a new tab)Trove grew out of that same work with Newmans. Part of the model I’d proposed was to keep the items they buy separate from the items they sell, under a brand of its own. So I created Trove from scratch: name, branding and a clean, modern e-commerce site the owners can run themselves without touching code. I integrated Stripe to handle payments and to offer buyers the option to spread the cost through Klarna and Clearpay, something they’d wanted but weren’t sure how to set up.
The Swan at Braybrooke
Hospitality theswanatbraybrooke.com (opens in a new tab)When a newly opened country pub needed a website, I took on a secondary-school work-experience student with a genuine interest in software development and mentored them through the build. They led much of the design and content under close guidance from me, and together we delivered a site the owners are proud of. It’s proof that, handled properly, a project can also give something back to the next generation.
